The Last supper

The last supper was the project that we have undertaken to piece together. It is a gift for the Wongs who have graciously hosted Cell group for quite a while, has it been 5 years? So the night started with dinner at Phebe's house, a short break and we started at about 9.4pm and did the whole thing with a 50% survival rate.
Joseph and joel went to sleep at 4am, waking up later to comeplete the centre portion. Cailing went at about 5amplus, followed shortly with Tabby following after shortly.
[Something not for the faint-hearted]

Thank God that we mange to finish it through the night, even the beginning, it looked daunting for the 7-8 of us working on it.

-taking the first pieces, sorting them according to colour-

Decided to help Ryan with the 12 disciples at the table with Jesus..Jesus is not hard to find, but we want to seek HIM 1st, which we kept on searching and searching..which we finally found his face! And moved on to find pieces that suited the disciples, quite a mini nightmare!
while doing it, it was so challenging, we had this conspiracy theory that they other table has our pieces, so we had to search for more pieces, which slowly added and we finally combined it to let everyone work on it on the same table.

-Who said seeking Jesus was a simple thing?-
A check into the puzzle, right after combining some of the found disciples onto the main frame & introducing the crew for the night hard at work!
From top right down to bottom Left: Cailin,Tabby,Eoin, Ryan& Joseph & Joel

-At the 5 am plus mark..getting stressed, needing to focus..Almost there people!-

The 4 of us[3 guys & I] took turns to piece the middle pieces, which consisted of like dark green, really dark green. Joseph(extreme right) will take a piece and try to fit everywhere he can, if he can't , Joel(middle,my bro) will take that piece and repeat the whole process, followed by Ryan(left) and then me..
By then if all 4 can't fit, then just pass it to the 1st and repeat the whole process again!
It was a hilarious one, even though it was already 7am the next morning, cos Ryan was bent on the fact that we lost some piece in that middle section, and saying that, we con't to try..I manage to piece like 2 pieces already, and he still didn't manage to, I pieced in 2 more!...told Ryan.."ehh Ryan, you sure we lost a piece in the middle section ar? with a cheeky smile
we all laughed and everyone was bent on completing the middle part, which we finally did!

-The finished piece! at about 8am=P-
-wait a minute, a piece missing which was found after we left, Thank God, almost wanted to put Xiang's face there for a change, since it's their house warming gift-

-Baby shadrach in the morning, growing even bigger and also developing into a young toddler-
I thank God for time of doing the puzzle, through you fellowship with other people, working towards a common goal, and pulling through with the determination of your peers, doing silly things to keep it going.
Thank God for the conversations with Ryan, whom we talked with really very more openly le! Especially in the morning, when the rest were asleep le.
Doing puzzles like these do get people to communicate and helps in gettting people to work together.
Pray that everyone will have a blessed week ahead!
the next challenge 2000 pieces or a picture of ignition was suggested, but the common consenses were, to wear different colour T-shirts and perhaps dye your hair!(:
P.S: Am gonna do the write up for my Mission Trip...make it this week!Missing the people there(:
