The Last supper

The last supper was the project that we have undertaken to piece together. It is a gift for the Wongs who have graciously hosted Cell group for quite a while, has it been 5 years? So the night started with dinner at Phebe's house, a short break and we started at about 9.4pm and did the whole thing with a 50% survival rate.
Joseph and joel went to sleep at 4am, waking up later to comeplete the centre portion. Cailing went at about 5amplus, followed shortly with Tabby following after shortly.
[Something not for the faint-hearted]

Thank God that we mange to finish it through the night, even the beginning, it looked daunting for the 7-8 of us working on it.

-taking the first pieces, sorting them according to colour-

Decided to help Ryan with the 12 disciples at the table with Jesus..Jesus is not hard to find, but we want to seek HIM 1st, which we kept on searching and searching..which we finally found his face! And moved on to find pieces that suited the disciples, quite a mini nightmare!
while doing it, it was so challenging, we had this conspiracy theory that they other table has our pieces, so we had to search for more pieces, which slowly added and we finally combined it to let everyone work on it on the same table.

-Who said seeking Jesus was a simple thing?-
A check into the puzzle, right after combining some of the found disciples onto the main frame & introducing the crew for the night hard at work!
From top right down to bottom Left: Cailin,Tabby,Eoin, Ryan& Joseph & Joel

-At the 5 am plus mark..getting stressed, needing to focus..Almost there people!-

The 4 of us[3 guys & I] took turns to piece the middle pieces, which consisted of like dark green, really dark green. Joseph(extreme right) will take a piece and try to fit everywhere he can, if he can't , Joel(middle,my bro) will take that piece and repeat the whole process, followed by Ryan(left) and then me..
By then if all 4 can't fit, then just pass it to the 1st and repeat the whole process again!
It was a hilarious one, even though it was already 7am the next morning, cos Ryan was bent on the fact that we lost some piece in that middle section, and saying that, we con't to try..I manage to piece like 2 pieces already, and he still didn't manage to, I pieced in 2 more!...told Ryan.."ehh Ryan, you sure we lost a piece in the middle section ar? with a cheeky smile
we all laughed and everyone was bent on completing the middle part, which we finally did!

-The finished piece! at about 8am=P-
-wait a minute, a piece missing which was found after we left, Thank God, almost wanted to put Xiang's face there for a change, since it's their house warming gift-

-Baby shadrach in the morning, growing even bigger and also developing into a young toddler-
I thank God for time of doing the puzzle, through you fellowship with other people, working towards a common goal, and pulling through with the determination of your peers, doing silly things to keep it going.
Thank God for the conversations with Ryan, whom we talked with really very more openly le! Especially in the morning, when the rest were asleep le.
Doing puzzles like these do get people to communicate and helps in gettting people to work together.
Pray that everyone will have a blessed week ahead!
the next challenge 2000 pieces or a picture of ignition was suggested, but the common consenses were, to wear different colour T-shirts and perhaps dye your hair!(:
P.S: Am gonna do the write up for my Mission Trip...make it this week!Missing the people there(:

If he can use me what about you?

Had
A week started with Np crusade recruitment on Monday& Tuesday, with the 'Naked I' campaign going on, talking about issues on Love and sex through giving out of magazines, and a LOVE ACTUALLY CONCERT,and also recruitment of freshmen into the Np crusade.
Was surprised at the way I manage to overcome some fear in approaching peo9ple to do surveys, and handing out magazines..Thank God!

Felt that I should help out, cos through Crusade, God used the ministry to nurture me and grow in faith in many ways, me helping in recruitment is the least I could do to serve(:
-NP was on coke Zero rush, free coke zero for eveyrone!--Naked i magazines to give out-

Bringing medicine to grand dad on Wednesday. After experiencing the things that took place in Thailand, and thank God that I'm born in a Christian family I wanted to begin to start sharing Christ to your grandparents, not satisfied with them just leaving not knowing Christ. How do I do that?
con't to uphold them in prayer

Thursday went with a brief exercise and gaming session at Daniel Woon's house, playing tennis for then 2nd time, "technique very important" as Daniel would say, smacking the ball not as important as getting the technique better 1st..and Xbox, beat him at
(1) Halo after the training from my 2 highly skilled shi-fus at home, (2) Freedom Fighters, which the Soviets won, with them being the fact they are soviets=P, and a thrashing in a game of winning Eleven of soccer of Italy Vs Saudi Arabia 3-0..fingers just not nimble enough.
A sharing with my friend who has a powerful name, Jacob Ng from
Gensis 32:26-32 Jacob Wrestles with GOd

26 Then the man said, " let me go, for it is daybreak."
But Jacob replied, " I will nto let you go unless you bless me."
27 Then the man asked him, "What is your name?"
28 Then the man said, your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with GOD and with men and have overcome."
29 Jacob said," Please tell me your name."
But he replied, " why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there.
30 So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying , "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."
31 The Sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip
32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socked of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon.

Look at the transformation that Jacob went through, Jacob which doesn't really have a very pleasant direct translation of 'deceiver', whom deceived his brother of his birth right, his father for Esau's blessing, and God blessing HIM with the line of the 12 tribes, from the line of Judah, David and Jesus.
If he can use a man like Jacob, I'm sure of the things he can use you for, If you let HIM to.
continuing shining for God!(:

Sawat dee Krub!

-Gen12ii Thailand Mission Team-
Sawat dee krub! Hello people, It's been a while since I updated. Hope everyone is doing great whether at school or at work(:
I thank God for his blessings as i went forth on the Gen12ii Thailand mission trip.
I love God even more for he loved me, my fantastic team of people whose faith really encourage me, Thailand(not to mention the food, language, children, the people:p), and also the crazy things that we did, from swimming in te river, eating like a Thai kid, pelting algae at one another, sitting on the Song Tiao(type of vehicle), talking in my sleep, "hands up, palms together!" -had a good laugh.

Apart from the lighter things we did, I thank God for Growing Spiritually, worshipping Him instead just getting notes correct, to be a vessel to outpour his love, to focus on our Creator.
Sharing from the word our team mateJacob Ng, shared from Philipians with which one passage is close to my heart with also testimonial from Radion international's staff, Eugene and Ben. WOW.

Philipians 3:8
"What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ."

being filled with thankfulness throughout the trip, to witness his creation from the mountains, the Sun, the Starts at night the 2 phrases that rings in my head.
"Come on people, press in!" and "PUSH people, come'on push!"

Of all the things I typed here, This is just the Tip of the Iceberg, a tiniwini tip.
Am in the midst of organising out my thoughts for the trip, that's what happened when you don't be disciplined in reflecting everyday.I will do it this week.
Check out my team blog @ www.thehmongshope.blogspot.com and read on at my friends' blogs!

Thank God for his Goodness(:
