If he can use me what about you?

Had
A week started with Np crusade recruitment on Monday& Tuesday, with the 'Naked I' campaign going on, talking about issues on Love and sex through giving out of magazines, and a LOVE ACTUALLY CONCERT,and also recruitment of freshmen into the Np crusade.
Was surprised at the way I manage to overcome some fear in approaching peo9ple to do surveys, and handing out magazines..Thank God!

Felt that I should help out, cos through Crusade, God used the ministry to nurture me and grow in faith in many ways, me helping in recruitment is the least I could do to serve(:
-NP was on coke Zero rush, free coke zero for eveyrone!--Naked i magazines to give out-

Bringing medicine to grand dad on Wednesday. After experiencing the things that took place in Thailand, and thank God that I'm born in a Christian family I wanted to begin to start sharing Christ to your grandparents, not satisfied with them just leaving not knowing Christ. How do I do that?
con't to uphold them in prayer

Thursday went with a brief exercise and gaming session at Daniel Woon's house, playing tennis for then 2nd time, "technique very important" as Daniel would say, smacking the ball not as important as getting the technique better 1st..and Xbox, beat him at
(1) Halo after the training from my 2 highly skilled shi-fus at home, (2) Freedom Fighters, which the Soviets won, with them being the fact they are soviets=P, and a thrashing in a game of winning Eleven of soccer of Italy Vs Saudi Arabia 3-0..fingers just not nimble enough.
A sharing with my friend who has a powerful name, Jacob Ng from
Gensis 32:26-32 Jacob Wrestles with GOd

26 Then the man said, " let me go, for it is daybreak."
But Jacob replied, " I will nto let you go unless you bless me."
27 Then the man asked him, "What is your name?"
28 Then the man said, your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with GOD and with men and have overcome."
29 Jacob said," Please tell me your name."
But he replied, " why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there.
30 So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying , "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."
31 The Sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip
32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socked of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon.

Look at the transformation that Jacob went through, Jacob which doesn't really have a very pleasant direct translation of 'deceiver', whom deceived his brother of his birth right, his father for Esau's blessing, and God blessing HIM with the line of the 12 tribes, from the line of Judah, David and Jesus.
If he can use a man like Jacob, I'm sure of the things he can use you for, If you let HIM to.
continuing shining for God!(:

Sawat dee Krub!

-Gen12ii Thailand Mission Team-
Sawat dee krub! Hello people, It's been a while since I updated. Hope everyone is doing great whether at school or at work(:
I thank God for his blessings as i went forth on the Gen12ii Thailand mission trip.
I love God even more for he loved me, my fantastic team of people whose faith really encourage me, Thailand(not to mention the food, language, children, the people:p), and also the crazy things that we did, from swimming in te river, eating like a Thai kid, pelting algae at one another, sitting on the Song Tiao(type of vehicle), talking in my sleep, "hands up, palms together!" -had a good laugh.

Apart from the lighter things we did, I thank God for Growing Spiritually, worshipping Him instead just getting notes correct, to be a vessel to outpour his love, to focus on our Creator.
Sharing from the word our team mateJacob Ng, shared from Philipians with which one passage is close to my heart with also testimonial from Radion international's staff, Eugene and Ben. WOW.

Philipians 3:8
"What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ."

being filled with thankfulness throughout the trip, to witness his creation from the mountains, the Sun, the Starts at night the 2 phrases that rings in my head.
"Come on people, press in!" and "PUSH people, come'on push!"

Of all the things I typed here, This is just the Tip of the Iceberg, a tiniwini tip.
Am in the midst of organising out my thoughts for the trip, that's what happened when you don't be disciplined in reflecting everyday.I will do it this week.
Check out my team blog @ www.thehmongshope.blogspot.com and read on at my friends' blogs!

Thank God for his Goodness(:

Gen12 ii-unveil your glory

It has been a happening week...preparation, changes in preparation, my room's messed, my breathing just become a little wierd again, As I go, may my heart be ready. Please pray for my team and myself as we go up to Thailand...will update you people through the main blog,
www.thehmongshope.blogspot.com
cos i think there's not enought time and energy for me to do the personal blog during the trip..

It has been a rollercoaster ride with 1st permit to refugee camp revoked, with my prayerful team, trusting God to speak to us, that our hearts be ready to listen to his Will.
So we moved the focus to the villagers, and PTL, PRaise The Lord, we are entering on 26th to 27th MARch..
Give thanks to God for generous supporters who supported me financially to go for this trip, 1200 is no small amount and people i asked have shown me the meaning of giving with a cause in mind.It ismy responsibility as a good steward to do the best to my ability to serve the Hmong people, regardless of Hmong thai or Hmong Lao

In a way the events that unfold were a blessing, we now were reaching to the thai villagers and the Hmong refugees.
Let us go with a heart filled with a full tank, that never runs dry, because with GOd he supplies and your tank will run as you stay with him.

Take care my dear friends, thank you for praying with me, for the team and for the people..
Will be praying for you too.
a 40% with prayer, 40% to listen and 20% filled with passion
Go forth and be a blessing to the nations(:

P.S: I would like to pray for you too(:

29th of Feb

IT's really interesting today, as it is an another day instaed of the 28 days that Febuary usually has...Happy Leap Year..I love steam boats, I got to begin uploading pictures at a faster rate, cos this was dated 17 Feurary 2008!

Tihs day, the Angs, my aunty and uncle with the 3 cousins came over for dinner. What way to be in that festive mood and celebrate with a time of fellowship.

While preparation, there was the sea cucumber, a gift from my big aunt...Now I know what's is in my aunt's famous and delicious Stewed sea cucumber with leeks and roast meat that we get to relish every new year.
The avid on-looker
How many does it take to play a computer game?
1 player in the hot seat, with the many spectators

After the preparations, wala!
the Food is served, and people are enjoying the time.
Looking at all the food, I thnk GOd for teh food we get to eat, cos people in other countries, we need not refer to Africa all thet ime...even in Singapore, or neighbouring Asian countries, some people have not enough to eat somtimes.

enjoy!(:

I am thankful for being able to spend time at ah ma's house cos my cousin's birthday..My mum 'recalled' us to be present, or else we will be spending our time at choir...
Uncle was like patient, phew, my birthday cousin, Bevely(white blouse) telling him the order one by one, enjoyed that short walk to the shops, with the different coloured drinks, and to try new ones,
Passionfruit Milktea was one of them(:

Chilli crab, Sesame oil chicken, sour vegetables with sea cucumber, minced garlic and with other things, curry chicken, old cucumber soup.
oh for starters had stir-fry noodles with lime and home-made bleanchan..wonder why it taste a little better than my mum's, but at the end ALL still nice!
Had to be mindful to watch the heaty/oily things..just recoverd from a long cough that I dealt with since Chinse New year. So started with a cup of water & home-mad water chestnut water
P.s: couldn't take snapshots of food, too engrossed talking and eating(more of the latter, heh)

prior to that, the cousins had to put their brains together to discuss and brainstorm ways to solve 2 primary 'trail an error' questions..
too much/ too used to algebra, aha, but we finally solved it without using the algebra! using common sense, thinking it a little slower..

A ligther side of a sunday afternoon, Thank God for the time of fellowship(:

Sunday

I thank God for being able to have the courage to speak with people to partner with me in mission trip...Procrastination was like so easy cos it's soo easy to say in your heart, "will ask them another time, next week." Excuses..cos sometimes, that day will never take place...and people like me tend to forget!
so thank God for Uncle Mark sharing at cell about procrastination through the series of "GOd is closer than you think" by John Ortberg, encouraging me to as Nike will say, "Just do it"(:

Today at class we had the story about bowling...haha, I think i belong to that group after you drop the ball, you tilt left, right everywhere, with this low murmuring of "strike",or the direction you want the ball to roll, which with reference to laws of forces, it doesn't happen that way.

Teaching us to not be worrying, after you dropped it...drop it..and the key thinga bout meditation and worrying...how do you manage reflecting over and over again?
with worries?with strength from GOD?

apart from finances, prayer is another important aspect of anything we do as christians..I thank God as we pray, that we partner with his will to enable his will to take place...

IT's Comissioning of the GEn12 Trippers...Wow, my little bits that i learnt from the sharing at apologetics class, or Shao Wei my friend would put it, "defense against the dark arts" came into action....
How do I explain it ?Worship with instruments or not?
With the Church that I grew up in...and what I see outside

Decided not to continue with the 'debate' as I would not be having the right heart to speak..Thank God for restrain to be wise in words(:
